Strangely in Love – Q&A
Strangely in Love is an independent film by Amin Matalqa, which takes the story of Dostoevsky’s novella White Nights and sets it in modern day Los Angeles.
Director, producer and co-writer Amin Matalqa, actress and producer Michelle Lang and costume designer Catherine Velosa have been kind enough to participate in a Q&A for this site. I thank them for their time.
Australian performer Virginia Gay has been a presence on our screens since she graduated from WAAPA. Not content with acting only on screen, Virginia has excelled on stage too including writing some cabaret shows.
Virginia was kind enough to do a Q & A for this site. She can currently be seen on Winners & Losers on Channel 7 whilst at the same time trying to perfect the art of Twitter.
For the past five years ‘Packed to the Rafters’ was Australia’s Number 1 drama. The show finished its run last month with a fitting finale. David Lawrance, a script editor during the show’s run has been kind enough to do a Q&A for this site. He talks about the show, script writing in general and what it’s like to get into the mindset of a late 40s woman.
A quick note, it has taken five months, but I’ve finally restored the posts that had been lost when my site was hacked in July and August.
One of the posts that has been restored is the Night with the Actors of Our Town (Sydney Theatre Company – 2010). I have scanned the programme for the show, since it starred two of this year’s AACTA nominated actors in Ashleigh Cummings and Susan Prior.
